Andrej is a Master's student of Terrestrial Ecology at the Faculty of Science, Charles University. He is particularly interested in fungal ecology, fungal cultivation and ecology of plants. At the Institute of Microbiology, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, he is working under supervision of Mgr. Petr Kohout, PhD. on the Legacy effect of environmental characteristics before wildfire on succession of post-fire soil microbial communities. In addition to this research focus, his interests include abstract art, electronic music, subcultures, backpacking, yoga and psychology.
