Tereza Branyšová

Tereza is a microbiologist who recently completed her PhD at the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague, focusing on microbial contamination of cultural heritage objects. During her PhD studies, her interest in environmental microbiology deepened, and she hopes to make an impact in this field. During her postdoc, she will try to disentangle direct and indirect effect of climate on distribution of fungal litter saprotrophs. Outside the lab, Tereza is a dog lover who enjoys board games, traveling, and various sports, including yoga, hiking, and beach volleyball.
