Vasilii is a bioinformatician with a keen interest in fungal metabarcoding and ecology. He is currently pursuing his PhD at the Plant Science and Biodiversity Center SAS in Bratislava and the Faculty of Science CU in Prague. His work in the group focuses on the analysis of large-scale fungal metabarcoding data, aiming to unravel new insights into the biogeography and origins of fungal taxa worldwide. Outside of science, Vasilii enjoys endurance sports, hiking, and nerding out over board games.ailonek osoby
