Barbora Zelená

Barbora is a Master student at the Kohout lab, studying Plant Ecophysiology at the Department of Experimental Botany at Charles University. She is interested in the diverse roles that mycorrhizal fungi play in ecosystem processes. Her thesis focuses on the post-fire successional development of ectomycorrhizal fungal communities in the Czech Switzerland National Park. In her free time, she enjoys being in nature, spending time with her scout group, as well as reading, baking, knitting, or playing the violin.
